I'm an engineer by trade, but I try very hard to keep up with my sketching because it's a huge creative outlet for me. I'm a huge fan of Japanese Super Robots, particularly those from the mid-70s to early 80s, but I also enjoy good horror, sci-fi and high fantasy work.
I work primarily in pencil, and do all my coloring in Photoshop. Up until recently I was inking my work prior to scanning them for coloring, but I'm trying a few new techniques to streamline the process a little.
My favorite artists include Yasushi Nirasawa, Masami Obari, Go Nagai, Ken Ishikawa, Ayami Kojima, Tetsuo Hara, Hirohiko Araki, and Hyung-Tae Kim. Western artists include Alex Ross, Pat Lee, Norman Rockwell, Frank Miller and Joe Madureira.
