Ars Gaea - Aeolus, Ring of Wind by Shin-Ian Ars Gaea - Aeolus, Ring of Wind by Shin-Ian
Second in the Ars Gaea Elemental Ring series, Aeolus is also the only unit that can fly. Using a mythical technology based on the Satchel of Four Winds, Aeolus houses the driving gale itself, directing the raging currents through rigorously forged conduits to vault into the air and soar aloft.

The blades on its arms are honed to a wicked edge, and double as air foils that can harness the wind for relentless, repeating strikes barely visible to untrained eyes.

Periodically the air currents inside must be replenished, but thankfully the Storm Peaks are never long without a fierce storm to consume.

That reminds me, I really need to post the whole backstory to this world. It would make some of the upcoming technology references make more sense. Thanks bro!

Thanks bro! The original with the green and yellow was just a little too loud for me, in the end.

Thank you. This one flies, so I wanted to get almost a birds eye look to it. Glad you like it.

Whoa. Absolutely love the design, it has a good flow to it and a strikingness in the simplicity of the design, which gives off a real super robot feel.

I always admired the old Super Robot designs. They really managed to produce some iconic looks that were still relatively simple and elegant, and that can be really hard to do. Thanks for the complement, it's much appreciated!

Thanks so much, I'm glad you like it. To tell the truth, I was really iffy about it, the original line art had a few glaring problems. Thank heavens for layers and photoshop. Cheers!

Graci. I was worried about the background getting too wonky, but I guess I just need more practice with cloud effects. Cheers!
