Sorry for the delay! I've had a combination of artist's block and a deluge of work, which has made getting to the last two Orbots very very difficult. Bo is still not done, and she's proven to be quite elusive. Hopefully this breakthrough I've had will last a bit longer and I'll be able to get her on the page too.
Anyway, back to Bort. Again, a mostly comical character in the original series, Bort was cursed with indecisiveness and self-doubt. His ability to transform into almost anything certainly made him the Deus Ex Machina of many an episode, but (kind of like Crunch) he never seemed to garner much respect. My take on Bort still makes his 'quick change circuits' the highlight of his powers, but here you see them applied to more...militaristic enhancements. A Swiss Army Knife, Bort should be able to change into whatever weapon best suits the situation at hand, though in terms of personality, I'd love to maintain his scatterbrained approach and indecisiveness. On his own, I imagine he would take a shotgun approach to a problem, rapidly switching into multiple forms/weapons rather than immediately jumping to the most effective.
