Mighty Orbots G - Tor Concept

Sorry for the delay. Tor was probably the hardest of the five to redesign, because his position in Mighty Orbots is so critical. The original Tor had a very simple transformation, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it kind of limits what you can do, and isn't as visually interesting. I thought initially that it would be a quick thing, but the more sketches I did the more I realized that I wasn't happy with how the transformation would work. I eventually decided to work backwards, designing his combination mode first, then trying to figure out how he turned into that! Tor is the brawler of the team. He doesn't have the gadgets of Bort, or (in my version) the gravity manipulation of Crunch. He doesn't have the raw firepower of Bo or the stealth of Boo. He just has brute force. His figure had to convey that, with just more massive proportions, shorter limbs, and yet it had to make sense when he transformed. I sketched in blue pencil, doing the final lines in black primacolor
